Microsoft xBox 360 Repair Problems

Monday, October 19th, 2009

The xBox 360 game console was Microsoft’s second video game console and was released in November of 2005. The xBox 360 offered cutting-edge graphics and a huge game library so it quickly became one of the dominate video game consoles on the market.

Unfortunately, the Microsoft xBox 360 also came with a few technical issues. For some people the xBox 360 simply quit working and would only display the red ring of death when turned on. Pretty frustrating. In fact some retail outlets reported a failure rate fo the xBox consoles that they sold to reach almost 30%.

Even worse, the cost of having a Microsoft xBox 360 repair center fixing the problem can leave you too angry to enjoy your video games.

Microsoft has been working hard to fix the problem. In fact they have made quite a few modifications to the xBox console to repair the problems. But that won’t help you if you have an xBox 360 with a red ring of death. Once that happens you need to repair your xBox before it will work again. The problem is Microsoft xBox repair costs can be quite a bit, and no one wants to shell out serious money on a gaming console they already paid for.

The good news is, you can fix your xBox 360 yourself. There are a number of Microsoft xBox repair guides available that will lead you through the process in a step-by-step guide that will have your Microsoft xBox 360 repaired in no time and your red ring of death nothing but a bad memory.

If you send it to a Microsoft xBox repair center you might have to wait several weeks before you can play your favorite game again. If you choose to repair your xBox yourself it will take a couple of hours and a few bucks and you’ll be back at your game this afternoon.

The most common xBox failure is the dreaded red ring of death, otherwise known ad the three red lights error. This indicated a general hardware failure and it means you have to fix the thing before it will play again.

Microsoft xBox 360 Repair Guides

Monday, October 19th, 2009

Are you looking for a Microsoft xBox 360 Repair guide? There are actually quite a few on the market to choose from. The trick is buying the one that will actually give you the information you need to get the job done right, without screwing up your xBox 360 beyond your ability to fix.

Getting the right Microsoft xBox 360 repair guide requires some research. So you have a choice, you can spend the time yourself  and risk your xBox console or you can simply take advantage of the research that I’ve already done, get the right xBox 360 repair manual and kill the red ring of death that has your favorite gaming console sidelined.

One thing I discovered during the course of my research is that most Microsoft xBox repair manuals cone in pdf format. And that’s great as far as it goes, but I found that it’s sooo much easier to get your Microsoft xBox repairs right when you can refer to a video of someone who actually knows what they are doing while they repair their xBox. The old addage, a picture is worth a thousand words. In this case a moving picture with clear instructions just makes sense when you’re trying to repair a console as complicated as an xBox 360.

Another thing I learned is that most Microsoft xBox repair guides focus mainly on fixing the red ring of death problem. If you have a different type of problem with your xBox console you should probably consider a Microsoft xBox repair center.
